Hardy Limeback, head of preventive dentistry at the University of Toronto, used to be an advocate for fluoridation. He now states, "Since April, 1999,1 have publicly decried the addition of fluoride to drinking water." He feels there is no evidence of a benefit to fluoridation of the water and the long-term ingestion of fluoride may cause potential serious harm.4 Dr. Limeback is correct. fluoridation can cause harm.

The things most people accept as "normal" today -- direct-to-consumer drug advertising, the drugging of our children with psychiatric drugs, the widespread fluoridation of public water supplies, and so on -- will someday be viewed as nothing less than insane. Future historians will be stunned at the ignorance and arrogance of today's world, much as we find it hard to believe today that the world's brightest scientists once insisted the Earth was flat.

This change represents a drastic accumulation of this toxic substance in our population, caused purely by the fluoridation program. Further, only the kidney, at 2.3 ppm, came anywhere close to the thyroid gland in its ability to accumulate fluoride.
According to the USPHS, we are now approaching daily consumption of fluoride in the range of 8 mg/day—a huge amount. Fluoride tends to accumulate in most organs, and there is good evidence that this dose is now accumulating at an increasing rate. Even the notorious Dr. |

Here's a Google search that will bring up some articles on it. With fluoridation, the American public is basically being treated like cattle. Here: eat some industrial waste products for us, please! Meanwhile, we're going to feed chicken excrement to cows, and then you can eat the cows after that, too! Heck, with enough segments in the food chain, they can get American consumers to eventually eat just about anything. |

The experiment is noteworthy not only for its scientific findings but also because the Forsyth Dental Research Institute, which commissioned it, attempted to destroy the research when it became obvious that the results would damage the fluoridation campaign. So who is Dr. Phyllis Mullenix? Her credentials are impeccable: she is considered one of the top toxicologists in the country, and at the time of her fluoride research held major research positions at Harvard University's Department of Neuropathology and Psychiatry and the Forsyth Dental Research Institute.

With the fluoridation argument, a few people in authority positions want to force every single citizen of this country to be medicated on a psychoactive, biologically active substance without having any medical diagnosis, with no public warnings of side effects, and with no real studies to back up its efficacy. But that's just the beginning of this story... |

Moreover, the toxic type of fluoride waste from industrial sources which is used in public water fluoridation and toothpaste (primarily sodium silicofluoride and flu-osilicic acid) has not been tested in any widespread way as to general safety or benefit for teeth,
The fluoridation scam was so successful, it still thrives in the United States today in water supplies and dental products. You will be hard-pressed to find a brand of toothpaste at your local drug store that does not contain fluoride in it. |

| Public Health study on fluoridation was supposed to compare hundreds of communities, but the final study included only a few dozen, presumably those that fit the desired profluoridation profile. And even those were flawed. For example, two towns in Michigan were compared for dental cavities, but those children studied in the fluoridated community were from families with higher incomes, received regular dental checkups, and agreed to brush their teeth twice a day. It wouldn't seem strange that they would have a lower rate of cavities, with or without fluoride! |

¦ Teeth decay and teeth discoloration. Studies are showing that tooth decay is declining in both fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas, while dental fluorosis, a condition in children characterized by white spotted, yellow, brown-stained, or sometimes crumbly teeth, is on the rise, and more so in fluoridated areas. Intake of excess fluoride (through toothpaste, fluoridated water, and fluoride supplements) can cause dental fluorosis.20

And if you really want to make sure everyone is poisoned, you would pass laws that mandate the dripping of this poison into the water supply (i.e. fluoridation laws). That would ensure that everybody gets some, whether it's an infant, an adult or a senior citizen. This is increasingly what is happening across the United States and around the world.
There's absolutely no good science behind any of the fluoride arguments. Even if they were using genuine natural fluoride, there are no studies that show the ingestion of fluoride decreases the incidence of dental caries in modern society. |

Currently, less than 2 percent of the people in Europe drink fluoridated water, and studies have shown that people with the best teeth in Europe are from those countries that do not fluoridate their water.5 Getting toxic fluoride out of our water, common foods and beverages, and daily toothpastes is one of the best things we can do for ourselves and our environment. |

Fluoridation
Sodium fluoridation of drinking water is one of the most insidious practices in America. Even if sodium fluoride were not a controversial chemical, should everyone receive some people's medicine? Perhaps in the future tranquilizers and mood alterants will be put into community water. Is drugging an unstated motivation behind fluoridation? Fluorite, a naturally occurring compound of calcium and fluoride, is already used as a formidable tranquilizer in traditional Chinese medicine. |

The Delaney Congressional Investigation Committee, the government body charged with monitoring additives and other substances in the food supply, has stated "fluoridation is mass medication without parallel in the history of medicine." Meanwhile, no convincing scientific proof has ever been generated that fluoridated water makes for stronger bones and teeth. It is known, however, that chronic fluoride use can result in health problems, including osteoporosis and osteomalacia, and also damages teeth and leaves them mottled. |
| Although many ailments and disorders—including Down syndrome, mottled teeth, and cancer—have been linked to fluoridated water, fluoridation has become the standard rather than the exception.
Individuals have different levels of tolerance for toxins such as fluoride. In addition, many water sources have levels of fluoride higher than one part per million, the level generally recognized as safe and originally set as the acceptable limit by the EPA. |

First, they looked at both young, premenopausal women as well as postmenopausal women. |

All have been used in the fluoridation of water. Fluorides cross the placental barrier and the effects on the fetus are unknown. New clinical evidence shows that kidney disturbance sometimes is due to the amount of fluoride it contributes to the blood. Fluorine containing compounds (sodium, potassium, or calcium fluoride) are illegal. A petition for extension in dietary supplements was terminated in 1973. Grapefruit Seed Extract
Grapefruit seed extract is ideal as a safe and simple way to disinfect drinking water when camping, backpacking, traveling to foreign countries, or in any emergency situation where safe drinking water is not obtainable and boiling is not possible. Available water should first be filtered (at the least, let suspended water particles settle). Retain the clear water and add 10 drops of grapefruit seed extract per gallon of water. |
