Generally, the younger the tea leaves, the less fluoride and the more antioxidant polyphenols it contains. [J Agriculture Food Chemistry 52: 4472-76, 2004]
There are false claims that green tea, by virtue of its vitamin K content (vitamin K is a blood clotting vitamin), may interfere with blood thinners. But the amount of vitamin K in green tea is negligible.
Studies show that green tea inhibits the utilization of vitamin Bl (thiamin). [Plant Foods Human Nutrition 41: 337-53, 1991] Most cancer patients using green tea may need to take supplements. |

When this aluminum - a known neurotoxin - is combined with aspartame, the results are multiplied:
In the case of diet drinks in aluminum cans, the very brain-toxic aluminum fluoride compound co-exists with multiple toxins found in aspartame, thus creating the most powerful government-approved toxic soup imaginable. With the strong association between aluminum, excitotoxins, aluminum fluoride complexes and Alzheimer's disease, it would be completely irresponsible to encourage people to consume this toxic mixture. Yet, this is done literally billions of times every year in advertising. |

Seaweeds are also a great source of fluorine (not fluoride), a compound that boosts the body's defenses and strengthens teeth and bones. However, to get the fluorine you have to eat the seaweed raw—even minimal cooking causes the fluorine to be lost. Seaweed is also a good source of the cancer-fighting mineral selenium.
Separately, each brings its own particular nutrient composition and health benefits to the table.

It really is about profit, not health!

STRANGE MARKINGS

Healthy nails are:
¦ smooth
¦ slightly curved
¦ firm
¦ unblemished
Dark streaks can be evidence that you haven't heeded the warning to steer clear of undercooked pork or wild game and have acquired the parasitic disease trichinosis. |
| However, these spots can be the earliest warning sign of fluoride poisoning, which can be life-threatening.
WARNING SIGN
Overindulging is not the only thing wine tasters have to worry about. Another common occupational hazard is the loss of the surface of their teeth. Over time, bathing the teeth in the acid-containing wine erodes tooth enamel.
BLACKISH TEETH
If you see someone with black, stained, and crumbling teeth and you're not watching Pirates of the Caribbean, it can be quite a chilling sight. And you should be alarmed. |

SIGN OF THE TIMES
4f""jfc., In the first century B.C., the vKF-H? Roman author and philosopher Pliny the Elder recommended goat feet ashes to clean teeth. If you think that was gross, here's another popular teeth-cleaning solution of the time: take feces from a sheep's tail, roll it up into a small ball, dry it, then pulverize it into a powder and rub on the teeth! and pitting are not usually spotted until much later. |

If you have a child who has been breaking bones too easily, you might want to check out their fluoride intake. Too much fluoride will cause weakening of the bones and, of course, dental fluorosis.
Sports are worth the time, effort and cost
Getting back to physical education, I believe that involvement in sports or regular physical activities is one of the greatest gifts any parent can give their child. So parents, even if it costs you money, even if it's an inconvenience to pick up your child after school or take them to soccer practice, do it. |

I also do not recommend using municipal tap waters that contain chlorine, fluoride, and other components that should be avoided.
Avoid making tea in cookware made from aluminum and copper, which are soft metals that tend to erode and may also have neurotoxic effects on the body. The best choices for kettles and other tea-making equipment are glass, cast iron, stainless steel, and enamel.
Simply bring a cup of cold water to a boil, and remove it from the heat. Add about one heaping teaspoon of herb tea per cup of water, cover and allow it to steep for ten to twenty minutes. |

Scientists investigating potential causes for goiter and other thyroid disorders have established a link between hard drinking water containing fluoride and the incidence of the diseases. Where hard, fluoride-containing drinking water is present, there tends to be a higher incidence of the endemic type of goiter (this is the most common type linked to iodine deficiency) than in areas with soft water and lower fluoride levels. |

Green tea helps prevent dental decay by inhibiting the enzyme streptococcus mutans, which is responsible for plaque formation, and it also is a rich source of natural fluoride, which helps strengthen tooth enamel. A cup of green tea a day has been found to decrease cavities in children by half. It can also help inhibit the bacteria that cause halitosis.
Many other of tea's constituents compounds have been and are being studied. |

Across the country and around the world, dentists are insisting that we drip fluoride into the public water supply. For what purpose? To protect the teeth? Can you be serious? People are swallowing this liquid. They're not rinsing it in their mouth and spitting it out, they're ingesting it. Now as a result we have fluorosis, and bone disorders that are related to the over-consumption of fluoride. |

I've been to meetings where dentists were up-in-arms insisting the entire population, no matter what level of fluoride they might be consuming elsewhere, needed to be medicated with this, and should have no choice whatsoever in the matter. That is, in fact, the current position of the American Dental Association -- once again, another "health" association that seems to have completely lost its mind.
Even if they say fluoride is good for your teeth, it’s not the same stuff dripping into the water supply. |
| This fluorosilicic acid is mislabeled "fluoride" and then dripped into the water supply based on the advice of half-crazed dentists whose mouths are apparently filled with lots of mercury, because they think they alone have the right to determine whether an entire population should be medicated with a highly toxic substance like fluorosilicic acid.

Studies are showing that tooth decay is declining in both fluoridated and non-fluoridated areas, while dental fluorosis, a condition in children characterized by white spotted, yellow, brown-stained, or sometimes crumbly teeth, is on the rise, and more so in fluoridated areas. Intake of excess fluoride (through toothpaste, fluoridated water, and fluoride supplements) can cause dental fluorosis.20
