In an attempt to verify or disprove the findings of Dr. Gibson, Dr. Peter Wilkinson, also of the University of Glasgow, conducted independent studies to determine the effects of fluoride on white blood cells. In contrast to Dr. Gibson, who looked at unobstructed migration of white blood cells, Dr. Wilkinson used a chemical (called a chemotactic agent) to attract the white blood cells but obstructed their movement by putting a filter in their way. This forced the white blood cells to squeeze their way through the filter in an attempt to reach the chemotactic agent. |
| The ability of fluoride to interfere with the normal shape and function of proteins has since been confirmed by Dr. Steven Edwards and co-workers from the University of California at San Diego and Drs. H.C. Froede and LB. Wilson from the University of Colorado at Boulder. By distorting the conformation of the body's own protein, the immune system attacks its own protein resulting in the autoimmune or allergic response described in Chapter 2. |

| Let's review the harmful effects of common toxins found in our water supply—arsenic, fluoride, chlorine, and others.
Most water contains Arsenic!
Arsenic is an extremely toxic heavy metal that damages the human nervous system, causes birth defects, and leads to several types of cancer. This substance is poisonous if inhaled but the primary mode of contamination worldwide is through the water supply. |

| Fluoride's predominant effects are stimulation of osteoblastic activity and positive calcium balance. fluoride is incorporated into the crystalline structure of bone as fluoroapatite, but the bone matrix is poorly formed and weak, and long-term excessive exposure typically results in more fragile bones.
The therapeutic index for fluoride is quite narrow, and at the recommended daily dose of 60-75 mg, sodium fluoride causes side-effects in 33-50% of patients. |

Minor Trace Minerals
Iodine, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, fluoride, Chromium, Molybdenum, Lead, and Mercury
Iodine
Iodine is needed to make thyroid hormones. Iodine is a non-metallic trace element that is essential for nutrition. The chemical symbol for iodine is the letter I. Iodine is the name of the element in food and iodide is the name of the ion form found in the body. Only tiny amounts of dietary iodine are needed.
Over geologic time, iodine has washed out of soils and into the ocean. |

Ever since the 1950s when Aspartame, MSG, and fluoride were being pushed into our youth, along with the harmful immunization programs, the IQ of the average high school graduate has fallen 10 percent.
Sweetness at a Price
Aspartame, Sucralose (in Splenda ) and saccharin are the most commonly used artificial sweeteners and have gained huge popularity among people who are concerned about their weight. In the belief that they are doing something good for themselves, they are thrilled to have found the "ideal" sweetener that satisfies their sweet tooth yet doesn't make them fat. |

Gingko Biloba—Brain Food; And Coenzyme Q10
I also recommend Gingko Biloba, available at most health food stores. Guarana and Gingko seem to complement each other. Gingko is considered brain food. It apparently increases blood flow to the brain, thereby improving memory and brain function. |

The connection is so strong that the government required grains to be fortified with folic acid much as drinking water is fortified with fluoride. And there's been a corresponding decrease in diseases, such as spina bifida, that are related to folic acid deficiency in pregnant women.
That's a wonderful thing—but it may not be the whole story. Our understanding of epigenetics is so immature we have to be wary about unintended consequences. We just don't know what other genes may be influenced by pumping methyl donors into the food supply, and we probably won't know for years. |

Even if they say fluoride is good for your teeth, it’s not the same stuff dripping into the water supply. Naturally-occurring fluoride is not the stuff obtained by scraping the chemicals off the inside of industrial smoke stacks. That's where they're getting fluorosilicic acid, which is what most municipalities are actually dripping into their water supply. Seriously, if you take a look at modern dentistry, it's a house of horrors. Some of the most ignorant and unscientific procedures of all are practiced in dentistry. |

This is all done with no regard for the level of natural fluoride children might already be ingesting from other sources. The situation is so crazy that it's difficult to find a more insane example of medical tyranny than the mass fluoridation of public water supplies. The fact that doctors and dentists so vehemently support it demonstrates just how crazy they really are.

Albumin, another plasma protein, is used to transport fluoride, zinc, and cobalt. Excesses of most of these trace minerals are eliminated by the kidneys. However, iron, zinc, copper, and molybdenum are eliminated in the bile.
Perfect health is not possible without the correct amounts of these trace minerals.

Joint pain is the most common, but stomach aches, nausea, and vomiting also occur, although they are less troublesome if the fluoride is taken with meals.
Newer sodium fluoride preparations, i.e. enteric-coated and timed-release to prevent digestion in the stomach, are showing better results in terms of both fewer side-effects and better clinical results. |

In addition to a generous endowment of several compounds that work together to prevent tooth decay, tea also contains a considerable amount of tooth-preserving fluoride.
Green tea may contain more fluoride than black tea. To get potent decay-preventive action from just the fluoride in tea, you'd have to drink three to ten cups a day. But you actually need less because of all the other anti-cavity compounds in tea. (There's also a good chance that the water you use for your tea already contains fluoride.) If you sweeten your tea, try using licorice instead of decay-promoting sugar. |

Sweet Poison: How the World's Most Popular Artificial Sweetener Is Killing Us www.sweetpoison.com Dr. Janet Starr Hull ISBN: 0882821644
Book Description: Millions of dieters using chemical sweeteners will be shocked by firefighter Janet Starr Hull's story. Diagnosed with a deadly case of Grave's Disease after she collapsed on the job, Hull was told she would die. Searching for the cause of her illness, Hull discovered that the chemical sweetener aspartame found in Nutrasweet was to blame. |
| Were chlorine and fluoride the only chemicals we had to worry about, that would be bad enough. But as discussed, food manufacturers and the chemical companies have decided to add thousands of synthetic chemicals to our food and beverages in the form of preservatives, dyes, flavorings, flavor enhancers, stabilizers and artificial sweeteners. You truly do not know what you are eating.
Let's take a closer look at artificial sweeteners. They are of special interest to me based on the personal experience I've had with them over the years. |

Now as a result we have fluorosis, and bone disorders that are related to the over-consumption of fluoride.
For some reason, dentists have decided that they now have medical degrees, and that they want to medicate the entire population with a drug, a biologically active drug, without first diagnosing any individual in that community. In other words, they want to medicate everyone across the board with the exact same dosage, regardless of that person's individual health needs, and regardless of how much other fluoride they may be exposed to on a regular basis. |

These are the same people, of course, who say that mass fluoridation of public water supplies with a toxic waste chemical misnamed "fluoride" is also perfectly safe. And mercury dental fillings are safe, too, if you can believe that. In fact, there's hardly a chemical or heavy metal being used in public health today that isn't safe enough to be injected into the bodies of children, if you believe these so-called health "experts. |

A food labeled "all natural" can contain pesticides, herbicides, toxic heavy metals, trace amounts of PCBs, toxic fluoride, hidden MSG, high-temperature cooking byproducts, synthetic chemical vitamins and dozens of other non-natural substances. This is all perfectly allowed and tolerated by the FDA as well as all virtually every media outlet in the world. Cable news stations, magazines, newspapers and other media giants are all too happy to take money from junk food manufacturers and run their advertisements claiming their foods are "all natural. |

Oh yeah, and they also say aspartame and fluoride are completely safe to swallow in unlimited lifetime quantities, with zero negative health effects.
In fact, the pushers of conventional medicine still believe that the mind has no health impact on the body -- a belief that was considered modern in the 1870's, but today, in 2007, it's downright antiquated. Don't believe me? Just ask your doctor about "mind-body medicine" and watch the condemnations roll off his tongue. M.D. |

Well, let's just say that once you realize where the "fluoride" really comes from (it's a toxic waste chemical scraped off the emissions scrubbers of coal-fired power plants), you start to understand the magnitude of the fluoridation scam.
Any genuine health care reform should start with one simple principle: stop poisoning the people. Sorta simple, isn't it? Too simple for politicians to grasp, of course, especially when they're confused by all the special interest groups screaming at them. |
| Ban aspartame, water fluoridation and mercury fillings
You probably know the stories on aspartame, fluoride and mercury fillings by now. These are known toxic substances that are not only toxic to the humans who consume them but also to the environment. Mercury fillings, for example, currently release 34 metric tons of toxic mercury into the environment each year. That's about as much as all the coal plants in a sizeable nation, yet the EPA pretends mercury fillings have no environmental impact whatsoever.
Aspartame, too, is a known toxic substance that's well documented as a neurotoxin. |

That is the primary reason they are trying to get fluoride into all the water supplies everywhere. I am very glad that I do not have fluoride in my own drinking water, and if I did, I would get a reverse osmosis filter or a distiller and I would get it removed.
